Communication is key…and so is trust.
The title of this blog post sad it all for me. There are no gray areas and it is what it is. If you do not know how to effectively communicate, then you are setting yourself up for a lot of arguments and misunderstandings. Failure to communicate, enables people to drum up their own conclusions on whatever it is that they may be wondering is going on inside of your head. Not that it’s any of their business in the first place, but I’ve been trying to be better at revealing some things that’s enough information for nobody to gain any unwarranted anxiety on behalf of simply speaking up. You can allot ego, you can call it controlling, you can call it whatever you want but it’s beat that you call it out loud to the other person that you’re dealing with. Wether it be business, relationships, etc., you have to talk. I do not like to talk much. As much as that may be hard to believe for some lol, I think that I have a hard time communicating properly because I have underlying trust issues that makes me put a wall up around my thoughts and intentions and would much rather the other person see it when it occurs, rather than them waiting for me to just tell them. I don’t know if that’s weird or not, but that’s just how I operate when it comes to communication. I really have to do better on that regard. But on the other end of the stick, what if you communicate properly and the other person fails to receive said communication? I think that’s when it gets frustrating. Ok I’m gone, lol Much Love. ❤️

Be the Flow..
“Go with the Flow” has always been a great cliche quote to have handy when going through situations that you can’t control. But Jay-Z once said, “Don’t go with the flow, BE THE FLOW!” And I never really did get it when I heard him say it during his “B-Sides” concert in Brooklyn a few years ago. But when you become the flow, what exactly is happing inside of you that makes you vibrate in a level that is clearly on a another realm? How does one even get to be a flow? I have a few thought and theories on that but, I want to start with actually GOING. In order to flow, you have to move. And I can speak for myself when I say that moving is probably one of the hardest things to do. Especially when you are living in a kind of fear that doesn’t really help you get motivated to get started.
Since I’ve been focusing on myself and my businesses, I’ve grown a kind of awareness that allows me to view in real-time the kind of flow that is actually occurring in my life, my relationships, friendships and more. But once I pulled the trigger to do the things that bring me the most happiness, I have attracted more positive things into my life that allows me to flow in such a way that many others can’t. To be able to have the courage to trust God with all of the things that you desire, only then will you begin to experience this “Flow” that Jay and so many others subscribe to, including myself. When you “go with the flow” you are under the influence of something else that is moving you. But when you, yourself “becomes” the flow then you are in the drivers seat. It doesn’t even mean that you are in total control, but the things that flow in and out of your life is all according to the choices that you make and the results, at least from what I have experienced, is the way I prefer. It just gives you a nice balance of know that something more powerful beyond yourself, is giving you an energy that requires a kind of slow that suits you best. God knows exactly what you need and he is always on the lookout for your best interests. all you have to do is trust in God and believe in whatever it is that you’re asking for, God will assist you and flow into your life all of the things that you desire.
Much Love,
Jermy
40..
You know, living on this earth for 40yrs has been such a great journey. Everyday, I continue to think about how great of a life I have loved thus far and how I am so excited to experience more great things in my life. I really do feel that I have been fortunate enough to to have the awareness to know that I am still a work in progress and that there’s more layers to be peeled back and discovers on a much personal, emotional and spiritual level. I’ve essentially lived two separate lives. The first 20yrs was spent building my foundation and life principles here in Jersey City. The next 20yrs would be spent in an entirely different state on an entirely different coast. But through them all, The good, the bad and the ugly, I can truly say that I have been equipped with some life experience that has awarded me the luxury of being able to use all of the tools from all of the life lessons I’ve learned and can now use those to fuel me for the next 40yr journey. It’s totally God’s will for what he wants for me in my life, but I can truly say that I am ready for what’s coming. The lessons that are left to be taught and the victories that are yet to be won. It’s important to know that you have to have a level of belief in yourself, in order to withstand life’s obstacles and how you navigate through those feelings should help out everything in its proper perspective.
