Do You..

Ain’t no need to worry. Things are already working out for your good! All you have to do is believe. Believe in yourself and all of the gifts that God has given you. Count it all joy when things look like it’s about to, “crash and burn.” Be patient with what you’re asking for. Know that your request is on the way. Seek happiness always, and don’t look back. I always think about Lot and his wife when they were escaping from Sodom & Gomorrah. The story is in Genesis 19, in the Bible. What we know is that her instructions was to “Not look back” or she would “turn into a pillar of salt.” But I always think about WHY she looked back? What was it back there that she was still attached to, when God was clearly and aggressively removing her from a toxic environment that she was going to die in had she stayed? What are some things that happened in your past that God tried to remove you from? What are some things that you keep looking back at, even though it’s burning down to the ground? When will you rise to the occasion for what’s truly on your heart? When will you step up and complete the task at hand?
We have a great responsibility and owe it to ourselves to do what’s in the best interest of ourselves, first. This is not a selfish concept, although we have programmed to believe so. Because it is grouped inside all of the negative ideas that have been placed inside of you from people projecting their own personal fears on you. And by them projecting that energy on you, someone calling you “Selfish,” in my opinion, is coming from someone who clearly does not put their own selves first, in many cases.
Someone is waiting for your gift to take control and give you the life that you truly desire. I pray you have the courage to step out on faith and not just “chase” your dreams but BECOME YOUR DREAM. Amen.
