Control..

Happy Friday! I know that this may sound a little strange to some. Shit, it still feels strange to me but, whatever happens to you in your life, in my opinion, is totally your fault. The good, the bad and the questionable. It’s no secret that what you put out, you get in return. You reap what you sow, that’s what your fault. All of the things that are under your control, you have the power to make it what you want. No, it doesn’t always go your way but it is good to know that whatever it is that you are doing, it won’t be long before you see the result. And depending on what and how much you poured into what you’re controlling, you will be sure to get back but just know, it’s your fault.
Does that sound negative to you? I find it to be very true in most cases because the energy you put into things is the energy you get back. Doesn’t mean that you won’t get some bad fruit, it’s still fruit but not in-season and that can be your fault too. Only because it’s a matter of patience and cultivating moments in your life that can have lifetime, lasting effects and how you go about doing things.

I haven’t really been feeling the greatest, emotionally lately. I think that I haven’t had a chance to really harness my negative emotions and live with the feelings as well. I have to learn to let things go and that’s really been the most challenging thing for me to do, personally. I’m honestly just tired of being in one-sided relationships and friendships. So, instead of running the risk of coming off thirsty, I learn to remove myself from those people who make me feel less than or does not reciprocate the same energy in return. I have a right to not allow negative energy into my space and I will take full advantage of that right on a continuous basis. A lot of times, I run the risk of going above and beyond for people and the return on the investment is a lost never good. I think that’s how people get taken advantage of, if they’re not careful. People can take your kindness for weakness and if you’re not careful, they can definitely take a toll on you, mentally and emotionally. If you let them. I have to do a better job at having more discernment when it comes to things like this because, if you do not have the wisdom to see where you are not being watered, it’s time to make a move. Let people go, block people on your social media and phone, do whatever it takes for you to get to a place of peace. But most importantly, do not take anything personal. People are going to be who they are and you cannot control that and the minute you try to start controlling people and situations and circumstances, you are setting yourself up for a huge disappointment and a lot of unnecessary emotional baggage. Baggage is that I refuse to carry. Baggage that I cannot allow to consume me because it is not my baggage to claim. Once you get to the point where nothing really effects you negatively, you are now the one in the driver’s seat. It’s funny how, completely relinquishing control over things is the pathway to freedom. Funny how that works. But you can’t hold on and let go at the same time so, it’s just better that you let go and see what happens and not be afraid to go for the things you want and to love the life you truly want to live and not having anybody have an impact on your decision.

This rain is making me want to take a nap, so that’s exactly what I’m going to do on this very rainy Friday afternoon. Take care, you guys and I hope you have a fantastic weekend. Much Love. ❤️ -Jermy

Mondaze…

Hello and happy Monday to everyone! Today is an exciting day! Feels good to be alive and have another chance to be great and live your life! You know, I’m always writing inspirational and motivational content here and to be quite honest, it’s just me having a conversation with myself. I’m preaching to the choir 100% of the time. It’s just so happens, that a lot of you may have gone or are going through the same thing so it’s relatable to you. I love adding value to your life but it all starts and ends with me, just the same as it starts and ends with YOU.
a lot of days, I don’t know what I’m doing. Most days, I’m just trying to figure things out. Sometimes, I’m able to just navigate through the noise but for the most part, I am just sharing my truth. My truth that I’m still learning how to be a good person, father, son, friend, brother. I don’t claim to have all of the answers, I don’t know shit to be honest, but I’m learning from my mistakes and enjoying the journey.
my son is visiting me for the summer and Have so many emotions going though my body. Co-parenting from across the country is not really the easiest thing to do and especially when it’s the first real quality time I’ll be spending with him post-divorce. I’m looking forward to all of the great moments we are going to share these next few weeks. I’m excited to create new moments, new memories that he is going to remember, as will, I… for a very long time. So, Let me enjoy the rest of this down time because I don’t know how much of it I’m going to get for the next month, lol. Talk to you guys soon, Hope your week is already off to a blazing start! Much Love. ❤️ -Jermy
